Hello. My name is Carolyn H. My stage name is Sweetie, I’m a comedian actress, and I grew up with five older brothers- the only girl and the baby. And around 1990 I decided to move to California to pursue my dreams of becoming this famous actress/ comedian because I always made people laugh. And I never knew if they were laughing with me or at me but I didn’t care, they were laughing so I figured I should get paid for it. So, I went to LA and I lived there for 5 years and performed, went to college, got my degree and then decided in 95 that I was sick of that so I moved. So, I moved back to Philadelphia for the summer and the fall of 95 I went to Europe. I went to live in Italy for about 3 months, Bergamo, Italy, which is a small little village I would say an hour away from Milan, Italy. And I did that for a little while. I didn’t get into modeling, I should have but I didn’t. I was a little to hippy. And I didn’t do any of my show biz experience over there. I just lived and learned the culture and learn how to speak Italian. I learned how to eat spaghetti more so though. Then, I came back here and I’ve been in Philadelphia, my home town, ever since. I’ve been pursuing, um, teaching kids drama and a lot of life skills through acting. I want to start up an education program teaching kids through games. I think it’s very important that kids learn while having fun. So, that’s why I’m in the library today, to get some materials to start my own business, my own small business at that. And also work on my one woman show talking about my life and it’s amazing that these 2 young ladies asked me “you want to tell your life story in 5 minutes because that’s what I want to do on stage, on Broadway. So, I’m doing that now and also I have an offer to get married, so um, I’m also pursuing that. And this gentleman is from Sierra Leone so we’re doing the cross country type of thing and long distance relationship. So, wish me luck on that as well. And basically, that is my life in a nutshell. I’m a young woman trying to surprise in the big city and trying to help kids become a better person so thank you very much. Once again, my name is Sweetie. Take care.
