Umm, let’s see… I’m Eileen… Umm, I’m not from the US, I was born in the Philippines and I moved here when I was eight, so just for a change, or actually my parents wanted to get out of there… hahah… And then, umm, so pretty much I had to learn English. Everybody always asks me ‘you’re so good at it’. Or. I don’t know, just because I don’t have the accent or anything, but, uhh, pretty much I learned a little bit of English when I was still in the Philippines so it wasn’t too hard to understand or too to learn, but, um, I’m just typical, you know, kids when we grew up. Uh, I don’t know, we just... grew up with two brothers, two sisters, uh, around a lot of white kids, and umm, pretty typical, you know? Went to high school, graduated, I was like the black sheep. I always thought I always defied my family cause of that, you know, um, respect your adult thing. I always said what I thought. So, anyway, my grandmother doesn’t like me. She, she tried to threaten me with uh, threaten me with a knife in the kitchen one day, haha. But that, that’s just her. Haha, no, she doesn’t like anybody and I’m one of them. But, you know, I’ll let that slip by. So, um, I told on her though. Haha. But, then I went to college. I’m still here, still doing my time. You know. Changed my major, so I’m still doing a little bit more time than I should have been. But, I don’t know what I’m gonna do afterwards. Uh, I have a boyfriend, but he moved down to Georgia, and um, he’s just there. He just graduated this summer. He’s doing his thing, I’m doing my thing, so, I guess that’s good. Sometimes it’s depressing, but I gotta move on. Haha. But, uh, I don’t know, like, let’s see… Last year I just became a citizen. That took forever, so, I don’t know why. I guess people were just being slow about it. Let’s see, what else happened? Oh wait. Well last year was kind of hard cause my sister past away, my younger sister. So we, it was like, it was weird cause she passed away, we buried her, and then the next day we became citizens, so that was just like, the weirdest thing. I don’t know, it was um, it’s was tough. But, let’s see, what else? Hmmm… Umm… I keep checking my um, actually my schedule and classes I’ve taken just to make sure, you know, I graduate in time. Pretty much, right now, trying to get everything finished. Um, oh! I’m getting ready to live, to leave on a trip for the Philippines. It’s the first time I’ve ever been back since I left, so it’s kind gonna, it’s gonna be a culture shock cause I’m so used to this place. I told my mom I’m gonna miss Wawa and Target, you know cause, if I get bored or something I have no where to go, which is, kind of sad. Haha. But uh, yeah that’s one thing I’m gonna miss if I go back there. But, I guess I’m gonna be in a tropical place during the winter, so, that’s not bad. And, um, that’s about it. So far, that’s the most exciting thing that’s happening. So…
