It seems like everyone always has a really big goal, you talk to someone and they're like I wanna be a movie star, I wanna be rich, I wanna be a doctor, I wanna be in a band, a rockstar, but I think my main goal in life is not to be something famous, not to have a lot of money, not to own a lot of fancy things, even though I like fancy things, I think my main goal is I want to meet as many people as possible and get to know just everybody from around the world. And I've kind of got a little jumpstart on that as it is. My father was in the air force so every three years of my life we'd move somewhere new. I lived in Europe for 7 years, Hawaii for 3, Maryland for 3, and I've been here in Oklahoma for almost 9 now. And everywhere you go someone always asks, where' you from? where're you from? And you can't really be form somewhere if you haven't lived somewhere long enough. I was born in TX but only lived there 2 months, so I don't really consider myself a Texan. I guess really if someone asks you that, you just say I'm a Air Force brat, that's where I'm from, I'm from the Air Force, I'm from the world. Every time we move somewhere I have tons of friends, you may not see them every day or talk to them every day but you still know a lot of people and it's really hard for me to grasp of a concept of living in the same place for your entire life. I know a lot of people who grew up with the exact same person they went to kindergarten with is the same person they graduated with. I can't fathom that. Seems like it would just make you explode because you're talking to the same people every day talking about the same stuff, you don't get to share experiences. When you move around, you meet new people, you're walking down the street, just talk to somebody in the store. You get all kinds of information and I think that makes you a very open-minded person. If you're around the same thing all the time, that's all your ideas are about. You ha nothing new to grow on. But if you talk to black people, white people, Asian people, Mexican people, girls, boys, short people, tall people, fat people, skinny people. You hear everything, you know everything and that makes you, I think, a better person because you're able to not be so narrow-minded you're allowed to listen to other peoples' views and take them for what they are and not push your views on others. And I think that's probably one of the best goals anyone should have is to be open-minded and learn about people. You can never stop learning. Learning is, I think, probably the reason why we're all here is just to learn. If I could go to school for the rest of my life, if it didn't cost money, and I didn't have to support something I probably would just go back, learn everything new, just keep on learning. Move around. Read books. Take classes. I don't know. It's not really being a bum, but a long time ago all those great philosophers and stuff that's all they did was learn and teach and no one really criticized them for that but if you were to do that today they would think you're avoiding life and you didn't wanna pay your bills and you didn't wanna start a career or a family. But really it's just you wanna expand, you want knowledge and I think knowledge is the key to happiness definitely. The more you know, the happier you'll be. Even if you know bad stuff. Because it's experience and you know what not to do the next time. And of course there's o much good stuff out there to learn it can't not be healthy. yeah, I guess learning is for everyone and teaching, too. 'Cause the more you know, about yourself and about others, the more you can give to others. you shouldn't always take, yeah it's good to take knowledge but you should also tell your knowledge to others . Especially young people, if you have cousins or brothers and everything hang out with them, play with them, take 'em places. The microphone fell. Talk to as many people as you can. Little kids really look up to you. If you set a good example and tell them as much as you know they will idolize you and they will want to, it will give them… A lot of kids are kind of afraid of learning, they wan have fun or they watch TV too much, or they don't understand. A lot of them think that learning is bad, they think that going to school is like a punishment, but if you show them you're older and you like to learn and it's cool to learn and everything then the little kids will learn and that will make us have a better society if everyone just knows more and thinks more.
