Okay, I hate my parents right now because my dad's an asshole and when I was like 2 years old he faked his own death and then came back like two days later. But my mom just told me this story like... last year I think... and so I hate my dad, and then he gets me in trouble because he told my dad- or he told my mom that I did ecstasy a couple times and so then I was grounded and I had my car taken away for a month and I had to get drug tests and it was all bullshit because I'm not a drug addict. So I was really kinda pissed. And I don't like my mom because she doesn't give me any freedom and I feel like since I'm 17 now, I'm almost 18 I should really be able to do more things that I wanna do and I can't because of my mom, who I have to go meet and talk to at 5 o'clock today. And... I used to live in Iowa. And it was really boring. Like, I guess I had a good childhood because I had friends and I had fun things to do like for a kid, like playing with sticks and corncobs, I played in cornfields when I was little. And... for a teenager, though, living in Storm lake, Iowa is not good. Like, there's really nothing to do. The only thing we did was like, scoop the loop, or smoke cigarettes or sit in a basement and get drunk. And it's like kind of pathetic... like, the people who live there don't leave, I feel really sorry for them because they're never gonna get out and they're going to spend their entire lives smoking and getting drunk and doing nothing else and have blue collar low paying jobs. So, I moved to Boulder last January and that was a good move. There's a lot more scenery and I met a lot of interesting people. It it's pretty cool because I used to be really shy and then I moved here and just started talking to people because I had to, I didn't know anyone. And so then I learned a lot, and I can't read that note that you're trying to show me... and... um... I learned a lot about getting to know people and made a lot of friends and I remember one girl in my chemistry class, she sat in front of me and I talked to her for a little bit but I didn't talk to her that much and one day she was like, "hey, I'm going to a rave this weekend, you wanna come?" And I didn't know what a rave was. So I was like, "uh, okay." So I went, and it was awesome because like when you're there at least all the people are just incredible to you, like the whole feeling is really nice if it's a small rave and that was nice, except for then if you see ravers like not at a rave they can be really bitchy especially if you're not a raver, then they just... so it's kind of like a sub-culture that is only like, incredible when you're there. So, that's what I've been doing, only my mom won't let me go very often and that kinda sucks. And, so, I made some friends recently, they're all stoners, and I really don't smoke pot but it's interesting to hang out with people who are stoned all the time because they say the strangest things and they tell the weirdest jokes and we just have all these inside jokes now about like sick birds and goldfish and just like, inside jokes that wouldn't make any sense but if we just say the word like, sick bird, or goldfish then we start cracking up... it's kinda fun. And let's see, what else... I have a sister who is in Chili right now. And she wants to take me to Europe this summer for my graduation present which is cool because I didn't know what she was going to get me and I think that a trip to Europe is the best thing that she could do because I've never been there and pretty much want to see everything and want to do everything before I die... and that's gonna be tough so that should help out. I'm also planning a couple of road trips this summer just, you know, to get away from my parents for a while because they're really pissing me off right now and I come to Penny Lane like every day and I just sit here and smoke and drink coffee and it seems like there's so much to do in Boulder, it's weird that what we do is drink coffee which is something you can do anywhere, which is what we do, we drink coffee or we go sit at someone's house and drink a handle of vodka, you know, the rubbing alcohol vodka because it's really cheap and we're all broke high school students And, let's see, I recently got a D on a physics test which is my first D on a test ever which is really kind of a good experience for me because I realized that I can get bad grades and still go on with my life, which I plan on doing. And... I plan on going to college but I don't know where yet because I want somebody to give me money to go so I can use my money to travel after I'm done with college and I think that's all I have to say.
