Jim Ospenson

Jim Ospenson began making documentary and experimental video in Philadelphia in the late 1980's. He is a founding member of the Termite TV Collective, an ongoing swarm devoted to the creation of alternative media. His award-winning work has been broadcast on PBS and cable, exhibited in museums including MOMA (NYC) and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and shown at a wide range of festivals. He has an MFA in Film/Media Arts from Temple University.

As a Termite, he was most active during Season 1 and Season 2.

He is currently dormant, underground and gathering strength, and making his home in Medford, MA with Meryl. Employed as an information architect, he loves to hang out with his kids Simon and Noa.

He reads books, takes photographs, and dreams of splinters.
